Neßler, Jasmin
Since 2017, Dr. Nessler has served as faculty in the Department of Neurology/Neurosurgery at the Clinic for Small Animals, University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Foundation, in Hannover, Germany and in the Neurology/Neurosurgery Service at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, University of California, Davis, USA, during 2022.
Dr. Nessler is Diplomate of the in European College of Veterinary Neurology and performed her residency at the Clinic for Small Animals, University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Foundation, from 2014 to 2017. Before her rotating internship she was research assistant in the Department of Neurology at Hannover Medical School, Hannover, Germany.
She performs research on inflammatory diseases of the nervous system in cats and dogs, as well as exploring the applications of artificial intelligence in veterinary neurology. Notably, Dr. Nessler secured external funding as the Principal Investigator for a project titled "Development of an artificial intelligence (AI) or a trained neural network (NN) for the interpretation of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images of the central nervous system (CNS) of dogs," funded by the Central Innovation Programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Germany.
