Posters
Posters will be displayed in the exhibition hall of the Congress Centre in Lyon at the regular poster boards and in addition the posters will be displayed digitally in the on-demand platform.
There will be an area in the exhibit hall for all posters – please mount your poster before Thursday 18 September 10:00 am, and do not remove it before Saturday 20 September 4:30 pm. If you as presenter need to leave earlier, please find a colleague who can remove your poster.
You are required to be present by your poster during the Poster reception on Thursday 18 September from 4:40-5:40 pm, in order to respond to questions from the participants.
POSTER REQUIREMENTS
Hard-copy poster
Posters should be in A0 format, and in portrait orientation (84,1 cm width and 118,9 cm length). We encourage making use of visuals as far as possible, rather than having extensive text.
Digital poster
In addition to the live congress we also offer a congress on-demand. All presentations including a PDF of your poster and a short 3-minute recording will be available online on the congress platform for a period of 3 months, exclusively to congress delegates.
Posters will be displayed in the digital poster hall (this is in addition to the paper poster), sorted per society.
For the digital poster hall you need to provide 2 things:
- Posters should be provided in a PDF format in a portrait orientation.
- A 3-minute recording of your presentation (instructions will be provided separately)
- The platform will also provide a chatbox where delegates can ask questions. The organisers will provide each poster board with a sign incl. your posternumber, name and poster title including a QR-Code. This QR-Code leads to the digital poster in the VFairs platform. Please don’t remove this sign and don’t place your poster over the sign.
You will receive separate login details to login to the VFairs platform.
Once logged in, follow the menu posters, click on the screen and choose the right society. Posters are sorted by number.
All posters have a Q and A chatbox (text only), if you click on ‘join’ you will see the PDF of your poster and the chatbox. Participants can type questions via this chat box. Only you as the presenting author will be able to answer questions.
Participants can ask questions via the chatbox all the time during the congress so please frequently check the questions.
Please send your poster and recorded presentation to the congress secretariat via Wetransfer to: i.vermeeren@pcopartners.nl by July 31 at the latest. This deadline is extremely important and will enable us to make the necessary preparations.
Please note that this PDF file will only be used for the poster hall in the online platform. You will need to bring your own printed poster with you to the congress in Lyon. The congress does not offer printing facilities.
Poster abstracts will be published in the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine (n.b. online version only), except those submitted for ESVCP, which will be published in the Journal of Veterinary Clinical Pathology. Abstracts will also be published in the online proceedings of the ECVIM-CA congress as well as on www.vin.com
