Piccinelli, Chiara
Chiara graduated from the Veterinary School at the University of Milan, Italy in 2009. After graduation she worked in first opinion small animal practice and as a clinical pathologist in Italy for a few years. In February 2014 Chiara moved to Scotland to undertake a residency in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at Easter Bush Pathology, R(D)SVS, University of Edinburgh. Chiara obtained her Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) certification in 2018, followed by the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (DipECVCP) in 2019. After finishing the training program, Chiara worked as a Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at the University of Edinburgh from February 2017 until July 2021. Chiara joined the IDEXX UK team in August 2021, where she currently works as a Clinical Pathologist. Her interests include lymphoproliferative disorders and haematopathology. When not at work, you can often find Chiara hiking or running up the beautiful Scottish hills and Munros.
