Mul de, Aurélie

Aurélie De Mul, born on February 16, 1988, in Brussels. I’m graduated with honors in Medicine in Brussels in 2012,. Afterward, I pursued specialized training in pediatrics, focusing on neonatology and pediatric nephrology, across Brussels, Geneva, and Lyon. My contributions to the field include research on defining acute renal failure criteria in premature newborns, enhancing long-term renal monitoring for these patients and impact of nephrotoxic drug prescriptions, for which I received several funding grants.
Currently, I’m immersed in an academic career within the Functional Renal Exploration Department in Lyon, working on my Ph.D. concerning the relevance of functional MRI in adult and pediatric nephrology. I also teach renal and endocrinology physiology to medical students at the University of Lyon Sud.
