Mortier, Femke
Femke Mortier is a veterinary internist with a particular interest in renal disease and feline medicine. She completed her Small Animal Rotating Internship at Ghent University (Belgium) and her Internal Medicine Residency at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (Germany). After becoming a Diplomate in 2016, she first worked as an internist in private practice in the Netherlands and later at the Small Animal Clinic of Ghent University. From 2019-2023, she did a PhD on feline proteinuria at Ghent University. Her research has focused on various aspects of UPC in cats, including the long-term follow-up of elderly cats with and without borderline proteinuria.
